The adoption fees charged for rescues help pay for vaccinations, heart worm
testing and preventative, spays/neuters, and other veterinary care that may be
needed, as well as any other expenses that may come up with fostering the
dogs that come into Rescue. This allows them to continue their mission of
saving as many lives as possible. The adoption fees don't generally cover all
the expenses, but thanks to the donations of many individuals devoted to
helping the rescue dogs, they make it happen. For those listed here, the
average adoption fee is $150.00.
As we all know, great dogs are turned into Rescue for various reason. Please
consider adopting a Rescue when looking for your new family member. Unless
otherwise indicated, the contacts for the below rescues are:

SEEKING NEW HOMES.....
FOUND NEW HOMES.....
Daisy is a 15 pound, 3 year old Shih Tzu who was
surrendered by her owner who could not afford bladder
stone surgery. She has since had the surgery and is fully
recovered. She is still on a prescription diet and she's
eating that very well. She has learned to be very playful
and even like dogs her own size now. She would prefer a
home with no small children, although she's learned to like
teenagers. She's slow to warm up to men but instantly
adores women, as she was raised by a single senior for
her first three years. She's house trained and leash
trained.
Obie is a Wheaten Terrier
who is about 5 months old.
He was abandoned because
he has a heart murmur. He
does not seem to know he
has a problem at this time.
Whether or not he will
outgrow this or will need
future medical care is
uncertain. But, what is
certain, is that he has a lot of
love and puppy spirit to
share. NO ADOPTION FEE.
SPECIAL NEEDS
This old girl, who we've
named Granny, was found
running down the highway.
No one ever came to find her.
She is now looking for a
home to spend her days.
She is a Sheltie, approx. 13
years old. She is still quite
active and feisty. She is
sweet and lovable and
doesn't seem to have any
major health problems.
NO ADOPTION FEE
SPECIAL NEEDS
Joe Cocker Spaniel is 6 years old,
neutered, up to date on everything,
crate trained, leash trained, house
broken and is a very happy loving
guy who now needs a forever home
and a diet. He has cataracts and at
this point is almost blind. He is a
candidate for surgery, if we can
raise the funds. In the meantime,
he is happy with his squeaky toy
and all of the love and attention he
gets. NO ADOPTION FEE
