Dear Diary.....
My family and I have found the most wonderful vacation spot in the heart of
Florida’s Nature Coast.  It's a beautiful place where pets can enjoy a relaxing
vacation all our own.
I woke up to towering palm trees breaking through a
canopy of majestic oaks. After a delicious breakfast, it
was time for my morning walk in paradise.  Golden
sunlight danced across the nature trails unwinding
before me through the tropical surroundings.   Air
conditioned comfort and a fresh bowl of cool water
awaited me when I returned to my room.  A week or
two of pampering in this place could spoil me rotten.
I had a grand
time scratching
my back on the
carpet and
dancing to the
music playing
from the stereo.  
And the snacks
were deeelicious!!
At dinnertime they served my favorite entré’, and of course,
more sparkling water. I sure enjoyed all the petting, too!
Another trip outside to watch the sun cradle itself into the
Spanish moss, and then it was time for bed.  As a silvery
moon glistened above, I nestled down into my soft bed and
listened to some soothing music custom made for us over the
stereo. Sweet dreams overtook me as I drifted off to sleep.
Around noon, I went outside
for a run in the exercise yard.
 Then it was off to the movies
and a nap after all that fresh
air and sunshine.

Mom and Dad are here. It sure is good to see
their faces again. I guess it’s time to leave.
They sure must love me a lot to let me stay
here. I just can’t wait till next time.
As soon as we pulled up the drive, I knew
I was lucky because I saw a house right
next to where I was staying.  That means
they are close by to watch over me all the
time.  That made me feel very secure.
I was met at the office with lots of sweet talk and
petting.  Since it was mid morning, I found my
room, got my own water bowl, and then met the
other guests and we discussed the fun times here.
Some of them liked playing frisbee.
 Some like balls better.   
After siesta, we all
went out again.  It's
nice taking so many
trips outside.   Some
of us had playtime
with tug-a-war and
some enjoyed going
for nature walks.  
The kitties have their own place
to play and nap.  I'm sure they
love it just as much as we do.
Before I went home, I got a trip to the spa for a bath.  
That was probably the best time of all. I got massaged
all over and then my coat was blow-dried to shiny
perfection. Oh, I felt good....
